Is This What Success Looks Like?

Do you feel like you are making a living, but not a life? Are you all too familiar with the “Sunday Night Scaries” where the thought of Monday morning fills you with dread?

Do you come home from work exhausted and find yourself counting the days until the weekend or your next vacation? Are you pressured to do more – at work and home – but don’t know where to begin?

You are not alone.

A stunning 66% of the U.S. workforce is disengaged and unhappy at work, according to Gallup’s 2018 State of the American Workplace Report. In the last 20 years, our time at work has increased 15% while our leisure time has decreased 33%. Mothers with school-age children say they spend less than six hours in bed during the work week. The tremendous stress stemming from this phenomenon takes a toll on individuals, companies, families and communities. But I have a way to mitigate the stress, and create a workforce of engaged, productive, happy people.

The Way We’re Working Isn’t Working

So many workers have the nagging suspicion that they are unappreciated and underpaid. They believe they’re not getting the respect they deserve, and the projects and promotions they believe they’ve earned keep passing them by.

The Conference Board reports that 53% of Americans are currently unhappy at work. Consider that: Half of the American workforce is unhappy. What’s more, 79% of people who quit their jobs cite “lack of appreciation” as their reason for leaving. I shed light on this epidemic of dissatisfaction at work, and helps leaders, managers and employees create a culture that fosters mutual respect and appreciation for all.

Own It. Love It. Make it Work.

If you ever count down the days to the weekend or dread the thought of another day at work, maybe you can only see two options to escape your current misery: quit your job or stay and suffer.

There is a third option.

I reveal why you don’t have to rely on your company or your boss for your professional fulfillment. Instead, you can take ownership of your career, your life, and your happiness – right now.
