A stunning 66% of the U.S. workforce is disengaged and unhappy at work, according to Gallup’s 2018 State of the American Workplace Report. In the last 20 years, our time at work has increased 15% while our leisure time has decreased 33%. Mothers with school-age children say they spend less than six hours in bed during the work week. The tremendous stress stemming from this phenomenon takes a toll on individuals, companies, families and communities. But I have a way to mitigate the stress, and create a workforce of engaged, productive, happy people.
